Link connections currently don't work reliably at the moment and it's not exactly on the top of the list of things to fix. But it is on the list of things to fix.

I don't think anyone on the team has a series x controller. At the moment I have an Xbox one controller. But that's about it.

Currently a lot of compilers and even the toolkits we use have dropped support for windows xp. I'll certainly talk it over with the release team, but I can't many any promises.

One, you're using an out of date version of vba-m. Two, wrong forum you posted in, moved it for you. And three here's a new nightly http://win.vba-m.com/nightly/visualboya ... x86_64.zip current stable though is vba-m 2.1.4

Moved to the appropriate forum. Also android and iOS are technically supported by using retroarch as a libretro core.
As for linking support it currently doesn't work well, it's under investigation though.

currently nightlies are down, however I'm looking to bring that back as soon as I am able to. I'm working on getting some physical hardware that can make and publish multiple binaries for different operating systems.

That project is not our own, currently the official way I'd ever endorse vba-m on android is via retroarch on android using the vba-m libretro core.
