not sure why you are using an external app to record when the emulator has internal recording tools.

audio sync is preferrable over vsync, and both combined work fine so long as the systems audio driver is not delaying sound processing.

Its caused by Wx not supporting high DPI icons correctly.

wan linking has too much latency.

Skins were removed from the emulator before 1.7 and will not be returning.

this version is an older version that i reposted, the latest version available to dl, Wx and MFC have this problem resolved.
