Lag?

How is that possible that this emulator has worse FPS than the original VBA? I could run games like Pokemon Leaf Green, all Castlevania games and Legend of Zelda Link to The Past with perfect FPS yet in this emulator screen scrolling causes games to lag.

Tried setting it to High Performance on AMD Control Panel and it didn't work.
