XBCD install Guide - NO LONGER REQUIRED

Download and install XBCD First (if you aren't accessing this page from the install utility).

Open Device manager

Expand the common controller class menu

Open up the device properties

Â

Switch to the Drivers tab and click update drivers

Select "Install from a List or Specific Location"

Â

Select "Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install"

Select the XBCD Device in the list

Allow the driver to install

Open Device manager

Â

Expand the common controller class menu

Open up the device properties

Â

Switch to the Drivers tab and click update drivers

Select "Browse my computer for driver software"

Â

Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer

Select the XBCD Device in the list

Â

If no XBCD Devices are in the compatible list, untick the box and navigate to Xbcd Project

Â

Select Install This driver software anyway

I am trialing a new driver install method that involves dpinst, i need testers with both official and unofficial 360 devices to test this new method out.
