It's actually easy to compile and install the necessary programs on that machine. I did the very same thing with my Ubuntu and Fedora systems. I made version for both 32 and 64 bit linux, but don't know where I should upload them. They are for Ubuntu 10.10 and Fedora 14.

RE: 64-bit compatability?
Gotcha. I'll set it up right now. These are the latest svn of the VBA-M program. I can also upload the Windows version if anybody would like.

The necessary files that are needed to install onto the systems have been put into folders. Fedora 14 doesn't have SFML libraries automatically, so I took the liberty of downloading from the website and making my own installer for that. I've tested all of these on virgin Ubuntu and Fedora systems, and so far they all worked perfectly.

Please let me or the developers know if something isn't working. Just to note, there is no cheat feature on the Linux versions.

Also, note for Fedora users, installing the packages will be required through the GUI, as I tried installing it through the terminal and it failed. I'm unsure what was going wrong, but using the GUI allowed it to also download other required packages that are maintained and found on the yum package downloader. Be sure to install the SFML package BEFORE installing the VBA-M package. Ubuntu users don't have to worry, as all dependencies will be resolved automatically.

RE: 64-bit compatability?
With the recent update to the emulator, I took the time to compile it and make the installer. The funny thing is that it seems to be a switch between the number of installers for both systems.

Thanks to the efforts of the community, Fedora users are no longer required to install SFML on their systems, and so I took the time to compile this version of VBA-M without SFML libraries, and so it is now just one installer.

Ubuntu users unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, have been given two installers instead of one, which will install the SDL or GTK+ versions, depending on the package.

Right now, all the updated installers are for x64 versions of Fedora 14 and Ubuntu 10.10. 32 bit users will have to wait. But on the bright side, cheats have been added to the Linux versions.

RE: 64-bit compatability?
SFML is only required for VBA <-> Dolphin-emu interoperability.

Ah. I'll just do my best to provide installers for the Linux users. Right now, only Ubuntu and Fedora, but if someone requests an installer for another system, I'll try and make it for them.
