[CAN'T BE FIXED]Graphics and performance bug in Mode 7 FF games.
I've been playing this recently, and found that occasionally some graphics corruption can occur onscreen after the text box closes. The only way I've found so far to fix it is to get into battle or open up another text box.

It happens on version 461 and one of the 700 versions. I cannot recall which one, sadly, and I have no way of checking at this moment in time. I also cannot attach a save state or battery file. Sorry.

RE: Graphics bug in FF4 Advanced european version.
it'd be the same problem that plagues FF6.

RE: Graphics bug in FF4 Advanced european version.
After some researching, i have discovered that WE cannot fix this, its a fault in the game itself, and occurs on the GBA hardware

Quote:Dialogue windows display minor displacement and garbled data when a character portrait is super-imposed. However, this issue seems to be concealed by the frame rate problem mentioned above. If the game were running at full speed, you would theoretically see a lot of garbage data appearing on the screen during conversations. I believe this has to do with a faulty implementation of character portraits in dialogue windows.

Further more, The performance issues on FF4 and FF6 are accurate to the GBA itself, and maintaining accuracy would keep it that way.

However, i can talk to the others and see about implementing a Game specific override which increases the Core/Gfx emulation speed (inaccurate emulation).
