wel, in fact I did not know where I most poste thease thread, because I don't know verry much about computers. therefore I placed him here.
My problem is that if I want to save GTA Advance, this error comes
on the screen: "Error creating file Battery Saves/Grand theft auto.sav"

Is there enyone ho knows what i can do about it?

Did you checked whether the folder Battery Saves does exist in your VBA-M directory and/or it's read only? VBA-M does need write privileges to create the file into that folder.

And your English isn't that bad, we do understand what you are asking, so no prob!

where i most place the folder? at this moment i have it like this:
mac:
/this computer/applications/VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.4/Battery Saves (read only)

is it in that folder? or is it in 'Save States'?

because i changed it to read only, but the same error appeared.

o yes, and of i click 'ok'. there comes a messege (in red, at the bottom left of the screen): 'wrote battery'

now i'm verry hopeless.

The problem was with the readonly status. Disable Read-Only for the battery folder, should be enough (if need be, make the entire visualboyadvance folder and subfolders writeable)

in the first place everything was read and write (or how i most explain that).

So, i sed everything to read and write. know there comes only 'wrote battery'. The file has been created, but when i open it, a new error appears: "Unknown file type /Applications/VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.4/Battery Saves/Grand theft auto.sav"

and get more and more hopeless

The sav file can only be used from withing the vba app, not as an external file (is that what you meant by 'unknown file type'?). Version 1.7.3 (for Mac) seems to perform more reliably, regarding batteries.

it's ok. i set everything to read and write and now the only error that appears is wrote battery. but that's not a prob. i open gta.gba, load games, and there it is. my saved game. so thangs everyone for help!!!
