It's much more than that. Qt works fine on anything that uses X, such as BSD, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and more.

It also works on Linux Embedded, as well as Windows CE.

You've also already seen Qt used in a bunch of popular applications, such as Google Earth, or Adobe Photoshop something or other.
