after i launch a rom it says loaded battery with a white screen and does nothing (i have windows 7)

Thats my fault, i somehow failed to include the configuration for that specific game, all the other emerald versions configure with the over file properly.

Open up the Game Overrides menu (Emulator sub menu) and change the Save Size to 128k

the same thing happened when i did that. should i use another rom like ruby or sapphire?

no, just delete the .sav file afterwards and the emulator will load up fine.
