1. I don't want there to be a display at the bottom of the screen showing how fast the emulator is running. Is there any way to disable this?
2. I cannot hear anything.

1. options -> emulator -> show speed -> click none.
2. options -> audio -> sound channels -> check if directsound A and B are on and that all channels are checked.
OR
options -> audio -> core settings -> check if volume isn't muted.
